This is why we are riding 550km in September. For our team, our family.  

Sigma team member Tim’s daughter, Olivia was born 9 weeks premature and was urgently airlifted to John Hunter hospital. This amazing service allowed Olivia to receive the highest level of care in the fastest possible time. Tim, his wife Nicole and baby Olivia are now home in Tamworth.

Sigma is not about just ‘fixing aeroplanes’. We are also about banding together as a team and supporting those who support us. This world class rescue organisation saved the life of tiny Olivia recently and this is why some of our team are lacing up their riding boots to ride over 550km from Tamworth to Kurri Kurri to raise much needed funds and awareness of this life-saving service.

We are aiming high and set a target of $5000 to help keep this service free for infants like Olivia who owe their lives to the team at Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Northern Region, Tamworth.

Our current riding team is Renee (COO) and Nick (GM – Recruit), both riding this ‘short’ hop down to Kurri Kurri in September. Renee and Nick are proud to be stepping up to thank the Westpac Rescue Chopper for their help in saving the life of one of our own.
